Powder-coated Components

We offer comprehensive masking and powder coating services for copper and aluminium components in Electris's in-house paint shop. We powder coat components of various sizes and shapes, ensuring they are properly insulated.

The use of epoxy coatings on busbars provides extremely high electrical insulation — up to 45 kV/mm. This ensures that components covered with such a layer can be safely utilized in battery systems and other power distribution equipment.Powder coatings also serve as thermal protection in applications requiring enhanced resistance — they can operate at temperatures reaching 300 degrees Celsius. Depending on the type of paint used, the resulting insulating layer can be characterized by appropriate flexibility, enabling installation without the risk of cracking or damage. For outdoor applications, polyester coatings are particularly recommended, distinguished by their increased resistance to atmospheric factors and UV radiation.

Powder Coatings — the key to more efficient and safer systems
Thanks to appropriately selected insulating coatings, Electris components offer the following benefits:
- Increased device safety,
- Improved energy efficiency,
- Extended lifespan of entire systems.
Powder coating, especially for busbars and components made of copper and aluminum, is already a standard in industries requiring the highest reliability. Components with such an insulating layer are widely used, serving as key components in:
- battery systems
- charging stations
- industrial power banks
- and many other products and applications.
Components with these protective coatings are essential for segments where durability and electrical insulation are critical.
