Learn more about the history of Electris
Electris’ origins date back to 2003. The company originally operated under the name Transkęt s.c. and then, within a few years, changed to the current one. The core business was the production of copper and aluminium components for the electrical power engineering and telecommunications industries. It is interesting to note that in the beginning, we only had three second-hand machines.
Today we have state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities deployed in a factory with a total area of 6,000 m2, and have become one of the leading manufacturers of copper and aluminium components in Europe.
Learn about the highlights of 20 years of Electris.
Business operations begin when Łukasz Hajdyła and Zygmunt Knapik register the company. The company was originally known as TRANSKĘT s.c. and then, several years later, it became Electris, as it is known today.
Electris enters into an ongoing business partnership with an international world-leading corporation. This allows Electris to continue its dynamic growth.
Electris adds friction stir welding (FSW) to its portfolio of processing services. The company begins collaboration with universities and research centres.
Electris moves to a new manufacturing plant, where it installs several state-of-the-art machines. An ERP management system is implemented.
Electris implements more advanced technologies, like fiber laser punching and induction soldering. These complement the company’s processing portfolio and allow Electris to offer new services.
The growth continues. As one of the few companies in Central and Eastern Europe, Electris develops and launches its process of bus bar lamination.
Electris expands its portfolio of solutions with an innovative powder coating process, complete with advanced masking techniques for electroplated copper bus bar coating. This unlocks new opportunities for our business in mining, e-mobility, and other sectors.
Electris is granted an official permit to support the Polish Investment Zone and begins a capex project on the industrial site in Białka near Maków Podhalański. The primary objective of the project is to increase the manufacturing and service capabilities and digital transformation of processes to secure the fulfilment of a growing number of orders. Project implementation is planned to span 5 years, with the deadline slated for 2026.
The company is celebrating its 20th anniversary and building its position in the European market.
