Sustainability & environmental protection at Electris
Sustainability and the highest environmental standards in our plant are all part of the direction we have always been heading.
For years, we have been striving for synergy in all our environmental protection initiatives.
What do we do?
We focus on sustainable development and real pro-environmental actions in production. We optimise, segregate and protect what is most important. Our goal? The highest quality products with minimal impact on the environment.
ISO 26 000 and EcoVadis certificate.
In 2023, we implemented the requirements of ISO 26 000. This is confirmed by our company's entry into the Ecovadis project, in which our sustainability and social responsibility activities are rated at a high level year after year. In addition, our environmental initiatives have been positively evaluated on the Integrity Next and Position Green platforms.
We use green from renewable sources
The energy we use comes from renewable sources, with lower emission CO2. A result of this is that we will emitted over 544 tonnes less CO2 into the atmosphere in 2023, than in base year 2019.
We have got the EKO Business certified and have electricity with energy with lower emission CO2 purchase guarantees.
Our company has joined the initiative posadzimy.pl
As a socially responsible company, we carry out a number of activities aimed at reducing CO2 emissions and minimising the impact of our activities on the environment.
This is why we have entered into a partnership with posadzimy.pl to plant trees together.
Electric racing car - collaboration with the scientific community
The electric racing car, designed and constructed by students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Cracow University of Technology, is a zero-emission vehicle, fully adapted to the requirements of Formula Student.
